Kingspan Insulated Panels, the leading manufacturer of sustainable roofing and window products, partnered with MethodFactory, a Sarasota-based technology application development firm, to develop a new website:
www.kingspanpanels.us. The new site is complete with upgraded visuals, custom functionality, adaptable content management system, and easy-to-search product data.
Kingspan Panels needed their 8-year old website re-branded to match their image, so MethodFactory not only redesigned the site visually to meet this need, they also reorganized the site’s information through its navigation, page design and by implementing an easy-to-use site search that allows users to sort information in a myriad of ways. For example, MethodFactory integrated a distributor module that provides detailed product information - from location to technical specifications, and a custom media gallery that ties images to their product catgories and industries, which is especially useful in enabling sales reps to easily find products.
A flexible, new content management system was crucial to supporting all of this. The one Kingspan was using was small and cumbersome, so MethodFactory implemented Telerik’s SiteFinity™ as a solution, and customized it to meet their needs. SiteFinity™ is a CMS that can change and grow with the needs of the company, an important component to their business model.
