Business Challenge
Hazardous Waste Management offers a program to assist businesses
properly dispose of
their hazardous waste, which includes all non-profit organizations,
churches, schools, apartment and/or condominium
management groups, commercial property
owners, landlords and government agencies. The business unit needed a system
to track all hazardous waste deposits and pick-ups.
Solution
MethodFactory developed a touchscreen kiosk based software solution
to record all citizen drop offs of hazardous waste. This system includes a
magnetic card reader which enables auto registration by swiping the citizen's drivers
license. Ultimately intended for a touchscreen kiosk, the application was
developed with large navigation icons and a very intuitive workflow.
