Their Polyimide tubing is a thermoset plastic providing the ultimate in mechanical, thermal, chemical and electrical properties. Microlumen's products are used in a wide range of critical applications such as cardiovascular catheters, stent delivery, urological retrieval devices and drug delivery.
Business Challenge
MicroLumen's manufacturing process was manual and paper-based. Regulations associated with medical manufacturing was a primary catalyst for the investment in a custom shop floor management system.
