Cushman’s Fruit Company is a consumer brand of Harry & David. The Cushman’s brand represents the best in citrus and fruit gifts since 1945. Started and still operating out of West Palm Beach, Florida, they select the finest fruit from premium groves, small farms and orchards, to be packaged and shipped to almost any location in the country. A good portion of their sales comes during the holiday season, and because of the year-end influx in business and the highly competitive nature of their industry, they have focused a great deal of attention on customer service and ease of ordering.
Business Challenge
Cushman’s has been a long-time client of MethodFactory, who designed a custom e-commerce website for them a few years ago. The site was made to integrate with Cushman’s pre-existing order management system, specific to the citrus industry. Since being acquired by Harry & David, Cushman’s again approached MethodFactory to build onto the site, adding new design, high-touch functionality and advanced tools to the already robust e-commerce website.
Solution
